We survived family pictures!
Every year I have minor anxiety over family pictures. It probably goes without saying that bribing small children to stay still, smile and look at the camera can be stressful. I have come to realize that some of my favorite family pictures are when we are all relaxed in our own environment. Since I take so many pictures already throughout the year, I really only need a few less candid shots to capture everyone (including me!) in one frame. So in the last few years we have taken our own group shot to accomplish this. But this year we jumped at the opportunity to have our pictures taken while blueberry picking at a farm. An activity we could enjoy all together as a family! It was so surreal to experience our first time taking family photos without all the shenanigans.
The kids are growing up so fast which is bittersweet. Here’s a little glimpse into our lives as a family of five…
