Georgia Ivy’s First Birthday
Gosh typing this post makes this mama want to freeze time. O N E . . . Life is crazy amazing but above all precious. To celebrate our sweet peach, we planned a special party filled with balloons, florals, flowers and lots of pink! My first daughter, of course there would be pink
For your party, I dressed you in a dress that I had your name embroidered to, now tucked away as a keepsake. I also painted your nails for the first time a pretty shade of pink
I made you a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting, and added a chocolate silhouette to the top. Dinner was Pasta Alfredo
You loved your big pink balloon. Not yet walking, you dragged it from room to room pulling it with you as you crawled
. . . tales of the pink balloon
. . . I don’t want to forget how you savored each bite of your cupcake and how you beamed with happiness from the very first bite
. . . I don’t want to forget how absolutely happy you were on your special day. You loved being held by everyone and you were so comfortable being the center of attention. Such a social creature you are!
. . . happiest of birthdays my sweet baby girl, mama loves you to the moon and back. xoxo
