In reminiscing about 4 year old Calvin today I’ve felt so sentimental. After sorting through our house and getting rid of excess and I have finally made it to our bedroom… where our closet stores a keepsake box that spills over with old photos and artwork Calvin has made through the years. He has grown up so much and I adore him. He brings an absurd amount of joy to our family!
While thrifting I came across this adorable puppet theater and I got this idea to surprise Calvin with it for his Birthday. So it seemed fitting to make it the main theme for his Birthday Party. So we blew up some multi colored balloons, made a homemade chocolate cake, some mini puppet theaters for party favors, and Eric even performed a puppet show for all the kids! Everything came about very easily, just the way I like my parties to feel, not to fussy.
