I love the simple traditions we have created during the advent season and how we’ve become more mindful of how we spend our time together. I hope our babies grow to appreciate and remember these simple yet profound little traditions. From our advent scripture reading, gingerbread house making and Christmas cookie baking. One of my favorite traditions has been to gift each of my children a new ornament for them to add to the tree on Christmas Eve.
Our Christmas Eve feast of prime rib and this year I made a cranberry gingerbread cake for dessert.
After changing into their new Christmas jammies, the kids snuggled up into our bed to watch the movie Polar Express.

After opening up all their gifts, we had a pajama day at home and all was Merry and Bright!
