Mexico Vacation | 2016

In the month of May, Eric and I packed up our bags and took the kids miles and miles away to Puerto Vallarta Mexico to enjoy the sun, heat and just pure fun playing on the beach and in the pool. As far as vacations with little ones go, it was everything we’d hoped for and more. Despite a really stressful departure with Eric having had his back out for several weeks prior, and Hazel being an absolute terror on the plane ride there, we made it in one piece. As we pulled up to the hotel and I was handed some tropical drink, all the built up stress was left back at the airport and now I was ready to enjoy the week vacation with my family. Our days were long and beautiful and adventurous. The kids loved seeing the beautiful peacocks each morning as we walked down to the beach.  When we headed out each night for dinner, they enjoyed keenly observing the coy fish in the many pools and streams located in the hotel’s garden corridors as we waited for the bus. The kids slept great each night since they were completely tired out from the days events. Eric and I would order drinks and dessert each night as we lounged out on our Hotel balcony enjoying the beautiful sunset each evening as we talked.  We even had a special date night dinner one night out on the balcony after we put the kids to bed. We left Mexico with our hearts bursting with happiness from all we got to see and do together as a family. I can’t wait to go back!
